True Love

Posted in Family by Jeff Hansen on the October 25th, 2006

I’ve learned that my nearly 3 year old daughter Sydney really cares about me. How? Well, she wants the best for me…

Me: “Sydney, I love you, have a good day.”
Sydney: “I love you too Dad.. go to work and eat some candy, ok?”

I feel loved…

325 lbs

Moved up my close-grip bench max a week or so ago up to 325. Shoulder is feeling better, so no complaints here.

A good reason NOT to like this time of year…

golden corralYet another bad experience at Golden Corral.  They have it right, this is the gold standard for a corral (1.an enclosure or pen for horses, cattle, etc.).  It is kind of like McDonalds, everytime I go there I swear it is the last time.

Over the hump?

Posted in Personal by Jeff Hansen on the October 2nd, 2006

ellipticalWell, its been over 3 months since I started working out. I have been pretty regular, going almost daily and somedays twice. Mostly I have been doing what I enjoy most – lifting. I have slowly been working in things I despise like abs and cardio work. Today, I think I finally feel like I am over that magical hump – where everything feels like it is coming together… and feels good.

One thing to note, if you hate cardio work like I traditionally have, then you need to try out an elliptical. They are way better on your knees and body in general, as you don’t get the impact you do while running… plus its not as annoying as riding a bike.

Ouch!

OuchJust a little bit of a tip. If you are playing basketball, and you are trying to drive to the basket, there are better ways to get to the hoop and ramming the side of your head into your opponents eye socket… It cost me 8 stitches.

MSDS Certification

Posted in SafeTrax by Jeff Hansen on the October 1st, 2006

SafeTrax OnlineIt seems that regulatory agencies like to have things certified regularly (gasp).

Hot off my little fingers: SafeTrax Online now provides the ability to certify MSDS items.  This adds to the previous items: SOP Coversheets, SOPs, Manuals.  I am sure that list is going to grow to include TOS information and more very shortly.

Some other cool things on the horizon for SafeTrax Online:
Task Management
Timezone Selections
Additional user groups
