IARW
SafeTrax has been asked to be guest speakers at the IARW North and South Pacific Chapter Meeting in Couer d’Alene, ID. It is to be held at The Couer d’Alene Resort on September 15th. While this is a great opportunity for SafeTrax, it has been quite busy preparing for our presentation. Until now, we have been lacking of a decent brochure of our product and services. This opportunity has spurred us into working on one in time for the meeting.
We have decided to create 2 divisions of SafeTrax – only from a logistic standpoint. We have a product – called SafeTrax Online which is used to manage safety information. We also provide consulting services for safety programs. Basically, the division simply states that we are going to be more proactive about selling subscriptions to SafeTrax Online – without our consulting services attached. There are literally thousands of companies out there that need a consolidated online program for managing their safety programs. Our goal is to work w/ other companies directly, as well as with contractors and consultants to provide SafeTrax Online to fill this need.
Comprende?
The slogan at Subway is ‘Eat Fresh’. I sure would love to, but when the people taking my order can’t speak english… that sort of hinders the whole ordering process. Como? Comprende?
I wish my buddy Chuck Norris would have been there with me… roundhouse, I bet they would have understood that.
Winblows… really, it does
Get out your pitchforks. It’s time for all you Microsoft loving, animated paperclip using, uneducated computer users to stalk me down and kill me. Why? Because I am going to tell you something that liitle voice that wispers to you at night that you don’t want anyone else to know.. but is true: “YOU DON’T HAVE A CLUE”. Luckily for you I am in a good mood and am prepared to defend you. You have been bred, and raised in bands of all things Microsoft. In school, you used their crap, in your job today, you are sitting at some Pentium II (don’t ask what that is) machine reading this using Internet Explorer. I suppose you are listening to your iPod.
It really is time to shed yourselves of the burden of M$. Look in the mirror and repeat after me: “I am NOT a moron.” (repeat until it sinks in). Feeling better? Ok, now please listen to me carefully. I know how you feel, I used to be in your shoes – er, fingers. (Is there such a thing as Microsoft Anonymous?). The first things you need to know are:
- There are viable alternatives
- They are often free
- They are compatible with what you are doing now (aka, you can share your ‘Word’ docs)
- You are not a moron, you CAN learn something new
- You just might realize, like I have, that the alternative is MUCH better than M$
If you are waiting around for Microsoft to release VISTA, read this.
In the meantime, if you are brave enough to step outside your M$ prison you should give Linux a try. Its free and works… better (did I mention no blue screens of death).
Novell’s SuSE Linux Enterprise Desktop (what I use)
Ubuntu Linux (‘Linux for Human Beings’)
Die paperclip.
3rd times the charm?
What is about blogging software? Why do they all lack basic goodness? Now you know why my blog changes so regularly, because I can’t find decent blogging software (and did I mention I am lazy?). Anyway, here starts, yet again, another feeble attempt to use another (wordpress) blogging system. Hopefully we can all enjoy it… maybe.
